A superb example of an antique salmon gaff.
It is made from brass and steel with a lovely turned wooden handle possibly oak which has been carved and polished with a rich aged patina to it.
The gaff extends out so that it can pass over a further distance on the water.
Made in the early 20th century, c1900s, Late Victorian era.
A wonderful piece of angling history that would look great as part of a fishing themed decor plan or as a gift for the avid angler in your life.
