Offered is “the Last of Steam” by Joe G. Collins described as …a superb pageant of steaming locomotives. This 269 hardcover book was copyrighted in 1960 and contains many many black and while photos of steam engines over the years.  Some of the railroads featured are as follows:  Great Northern, Illinois Central, Nickel Plate Road, Union Pacific, including the Big Boy, Southern Pacific and many more.  There is an index in the back that identifies railroads and specific engines for easy reference.  The book is in excellent used condition with no missing or torn pages or writing.  The dust jacket does show wear and a photo shows a slight tear on the top right.
