Description
Beautiful and funky 1960s Bitossi vase in the iconic Rimini Blue colour. This vase is likely an Aldo Londi design, indicated by the cutout/impressed nature of the flowers. Featuring a singular white painted, vertical flower to all 4 sides, decorated with cutout leaves along the length of each stem. This piece has a slightly organic quality about it, not only due to the flowers but also its slightly off-centred shape (which can be seen in the photo from above).

This vase is not signed, as not all Bitossi is, and has a sticker to base which cannot be read. It was likely imported through Rosenthal Netter who distributed much Bitossi in the US and other countries in the late 20th century.

This particular vase is rarely seen. Undeniably a great collectors piece.

Condition
Very good vintage condition. No cracks or repairs. Small chips to edges and rim. Some light chips to glaze only on the heavily cut-out flowers. All wear is commensurate with age and use. The wear and age only ads to the character of this vase.
