This is the 1983 HP (Hirtenberger Patronen; Austria) VT-21 (only .21in displacement!) four cycle model airplane engine with its muffler. This all-original engine turns over smoothly with powerful compression. These are interesting engines in that there is a gear-driven rotary valve in the cylinder head instead of poppet valves to achieve the four cycles.
