We are pleased to present this vintage Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date wristwatch, reference 1500, produced in 1974.
This Swiss-made timepiece is powered by the Rolex Caliber 1570 automatic movement, featuring 26 jewels, a sweep second hand and a quick-set date function. Certified Superlative Chronometer (COSC), adjusted to five positions and temperature, and operates at 19,800 vibrations per hour with an approximate 48-hour power reserve.
The watch features a white "Buckley" Dial with Roman numerals, applied baton hour markers and matching hands. A minute track surrounds the dial, while the date aperture at 3 o’clock is magnified by the Cyclops lens for enhanced legibility.
It is housed in a 34mm round stainless steel Oyster case with an smooth bezel, screw-down case back, and original signed screw-down crown. The watch is fitted with a Rolex stainless steel bracelet ref. 7835.
Fully inspected and authenticated by our in-house watchmaker, this timepiece is running accurately and is ready to wear and enjoy.
