The cream-white glazed surface is decorated in a deep, classic cobalt blue. At the center sits a highly detailed crowned eagle crest, flanked on the rim by three beautifully rendered thistles (chardons) alternating with three bold double-barred Crosses of Lorraine (croix de Lorraine).

The reverse side, as shown in the photos, bears the authentic stylized "LUNÉVILLE FRANCE" stamp, which dates this piece to the late 19th or early 20th century, a period marked by patriotic regional pride in France.
