This listing is for ONE of these gorgeous black glazed English ceramic mugs. Each of the 4 has a different zodiac sign printed in gold, with a lot of information about the horoscope written on the back, also in gold.
The chunky tankard style handle gives this design some 1970s chic style. The zodiac characters, designed by John Cuffley in 1970 and produced throughout the decade. All include patterns inspired by the crochet patterns also popular in this era and his famous calligraphy provides a period feel to the descriptions on the back.
They are all marked with the Portmeirion name on the underside, where is reads:

In EXCELLENT vintage condition, clean with no chips or cracks. There is a small gap in the glaze-free ring on the base of the Libra mug, but this is an anomalie in the firing process and not damage of any kind.
