Batik Butterflies Applique Unfinished Quilt Blocks Fabric Sewing Project

There are 8 blocks 11.25 in square. 4 of the blocks have been pieced together, 4 remain as separate blocks.

None of the applique has been done yet. This would be a great project to practice your applique stitch either by machine or by hand. The  butterflies would be gorgeous if they were appliqued with a variegated metallic thread.

This would make a nice sized table runner if the blocks were laid out 2x4.
