I HAVE NOT HAD A SIMILAR EXAMPLE OF THIS VERY RARE FORM IN OVER 5 YEARS.
THIS IS AN EXTREMELY RARE PIECE OF EARLY BRASS LIGHTING.
A VERY RARE EARLY 17TH CENTURY BRASS SPILL OR RUSH HOLDER WITH A FINE SQUARE AND DOME STEPPED BASE AND A LINE DECORATED TAPERING TOP ALL IN AN OLD GRUNGY SURFACE AND PATINA.
ENGLISH, CIRCA 1680-1700.
A VERY RARE PIECE OF EARLY BRASS LIGHTING EXAMPLE THAT IS SELDOM FOUND IN BRASS.
THESE WERE USED TO HOLD YOUR SPILLS OR RUSHES TO LIGHT YOUR LAMPS AND CANDLES.
A NICE SQUARE AND DOME STEPPED BASE.
Old surface with nice patina.
All original with no repairs.
5 1/2" tall and the base is about 3" square.
Typical wear and imperfections with age.

Shipping
