This is a unique handmade vintage music box with a wood carved and painted bird on a twig perch.

Based on the frame, I would estimate it dates circa 1950s or 1960s.

It measures 9 1/4 inches tall x 7 1/4 inches wide x 3 inches deep (23.5 cm x 18.4 cm x 7.6 cm).

There is a piece of loose bark, I believe, along with some other tiny pieces of bark at the bottom. I did not want to take this apart to glue it back into place. I have taken a few photos to give you an idea of its size. There are numerous tiny white dots behind the glass, possibly caused by moisture over the years? I’m not quite sure what that is. You only see this though when the light is shining on it at a certain angle. I have taken photos to show this.
