This is an antique hand carved piece of wood with three hooks.
I am uncertain as to exactly how old this is, but it definitely has very good age. It could actually be from the turn of the century, circa 1900s or so.
The wood measures 8 inches high x 24 inches wide x 7/8 inch thick (20.3 cm x 61 cm x 2.2 cm). The hooks protrude out from the wood 4 1/2 inches (11.4 cm).
The wood looks like it was originally painted, though much of that has worn off. This certainly gives it a beautiful primitive look though. There are a few chipped off pieces, such as in the top left and right corners, a piece going along the right side and a few pieces in the decoration at the center. The piece of wood has a slight curve to it, though this should not really affect it. There are still a number of very tiny pieces of old paint and/or wood that will fall off.
Each of the ornate hooks is covered in surface rust.
It weighs 4 lbs. 13 oz. (2.18 kg).
