Mint was a pioneering music promoter whose grassroots vision helped shape the UK’s alternative soundscape from the late 1970s through the early 2000s. Operating primarily out of Birmingham and Southampton, Burston booked early gigs for future legends—Radiohead, Oasis, Coldplay—long before they hit the mainstream. His earlier work at The Fighting Cocks in Moseley laid the groundwork for Birmingham’s post-punk revival while is tenure at The Joiners Arms turned the venue into a launchpad for indie and punk acts.

This poster archive captures the raw energy of Burstons era: hand-pulled gig flyers, rare tour sheets, and promotional artwork from shows that defined a generation. Each piece reflects his eye for talent and his commitment to giving emerging artists a stage. For collectors and historians alike, it’s not just ephemera—it’s a blueprint of Britain’s underground music movement.
