There haven?t been many years since 1991 that baseball card collectors haven?t seen the Elite name in some form, but 2026 Donruss Elite Baseball marks the first time that particular brand name graces a full set in more than 20 years.

Originally established as rare inserts in the 1991 Donruss Baseball set, Donruss Elite eventually spun off into its own brand in 1997 and 1998 and from 2001-2005, then switched gears again as prospect-focused Donruss Elite Extra Edition in 2004 and from 2007-2011, and Panini Elite Extra Edition from 2012-23.

Collectors can expect two autographs from every hobby box, as well as a combined 20 parallels and inserts.

2026 Donruss Elite Baseball Checklist Overview

The main focus within the product will be retired greats and minor league prospects, though a handful of today?s top established stars still make the cut.

Collectors will find 200 cards in the base set, split evenly between a run of current stars and retired players, and a run of prospects.

There are more than 20 versions of each card, including the retail-exclusive Aspirations and Status die-cut parallels, which combine for a print run of /100 per player. Status cards are numbered to match a player?s uniform number, and the Aspirations cards are numbered to whatever digit is needed to add to the uniform number to make 100 (for example, Randy Johnson?s Status card is /51, while his Aspirations card is /49).

Autographs will play a leading role in the product ? including hard-signed signatures on a handful of familiar concepts within the Elite lineage.

Pen Pals is new to baseball but has been seen in other sports. On-card signatures from 2025 MLB Draft picks like Eli Willits, Ethan Holliday, and Kade Anderson help highlight the checklist, which also includes Dual, Triple, and Quad versions.

Collectors can also collect multiple signatures on Passing The Torch Autographs, which originally date back to 1997 in baseball. These cards feature pairings of a legend and a rising star from the same club.

Kaboom inserts also make an appearance ? including rare parallel versions for the first time in baseball.

Collectors of other sports have seen different colors of Kabooms for several years, but baseball collectors get the debut of Gold and Green parallels in this product.

There is No Guarantee we will pull a specific card or player. Pictures in this listing may include images that represent cards or other items which may be available overall in the live break, but do not offer, promise, guarantee or otherwise imply the specific card(s) or other item(s) will be pulled in this break or any future breaks. You are hereby bidding on the opportunity to watch our YouTube Live break.  If there is a card pulled that does not have an auction spot, we will use random.org to randomize the card to all auction spots for this break.  If a retired player is pulled, we will award it to the team on the card.  If no team is on the card, it will be the jersey they are wearing in the picture, then the team they spent time with the longest (if it comes to that). All payments will be through eBay Payments. If a buyer fails to pay on time, their team(s) will be offered up to the group before the start of the break.  In the event of a power loss and/or loss of internet service, the break will be put on pause and communication will go out to each winner about when the break picks back up.  Refunds are not issued in this case.  Bakersfield Hobby cannot assure the claims made by the product companies on their hit guarantees.  For instance: If a specific brand claims that there are two autographs per box and we only pull one, this is not grounds for a refund from Bakersfield Hobby.  Buyers understand that Bakersfield Hobby cannot control this, and will ship the cards we open on camera.  Nothing more, nothing less.  Most of all, have a great time with the breaks, and good luck!!
