Celeste Harrow
Known as: The Mourning Bride of Harrow Manor
Long ago, Celeste Harrow was the beloved daughter of the Harrow family, raised in a grand manor surrounded by mist-covered gardens. Though she was known for her quiet beauty and gentle nature, Celeste was often drawn to the manor’s old chapel, where she would sit alone and listen to the wind move through the stained-glass windows.
As she grew older, Celeste was promised in marriage to a young man from a neighboring estate. On the eve of her wedding, she dressed in a silver-white gown and waited for him beneath the chapel bell tower. But the groom never arrived.
That night, a fierce storm swept across the countryside. The chapel bell rang once, then fell silent. By morning, Celeste had vanished without a trace. The only thing left behind was her veil, damp with rain and stained with ash from the extinguished candles.
Years later, strange sightings began to be reported around Harrow Manor. A pale figure in a silver dress was seen standing at the end of candlelit corridors. Soft footsteps echoed through empty rooms, and the faint scent of rain and lilies lingered in the air.
Now, Celeste Harrow is said to wander the manor as The Mourning Bride, forever waiting for the wedding day that never came. Though she appears sorrowful rather than cruel, those who meet her gaze claim to hear a distant bell tolling in the darkness.
Legend says that if Celeste appears to you, she is not seeking vengeance — she is searching for someone who will remember her story and speak her name before the final bell falls silent.
