The adapter SNAPS securely in place and is secured by one or two M4 screws - the length and head shape of which varies depending on the mount. Please note that the computer adapters fit the latest mounts but are an OLDER VERSION; on the reverse of the adapter the area around each screw hole is flat instead of a countersunk protrusion - see photos where variance is shown. If I am able to source a further supply of the latest model I will update this listing.

To install, carefully tighten screw to 1/4 turn beyond “finger tight or snug” (1.5Nm max - this may not register on a torque wrench). If you over-tighten the insert may well crack, immediately - or in the near future.

This part was injection-moulded at the Bar Fly Factory using their own nylon composite. It is NOT one of the flakily-scanned and less robust 3D printed copies you may see elsewhere. Weight 4 grams. Screw holes are 20mm apart centre to centre.

Why two? Adapters are designed to fail before your computer does. They will micro-fracture due to stress over time, or suddenly after hitting a pothole or other hazard - that's probably why you're looking here.
