The neck pickup works when the 5-way switch is placed in the first position. When the gain switch is pressed at this time, the neck pickup and bridge pickup will operate simultaneously. When the 5-way switch is placed in the second position, the neck pickup and the middle pickup operate simultaneously. Pressing the gain switch at this time will operate the neck pickup, center pickup, and bridge pickup simultaneously. Each pickup has a separate push-pull switch. If the single switch does not sound good when turned on, it is recommended that a compensating switch be used.
