This offering is for a late 19th century hand carved wooden folk art wooden eagle. The figure is made of pine, and may have originally been a fence post top. The overall height is app. 13" and the base measures app. 5.25" square The carving is a bit abstract but still presents the power and majesty of the bird. The body of the eagle is finished in a brown wash paint, the base is painted a blueish black. Both having a warm mellow surface patina that has never been touched. The condition is excellent with no breaks, cracks or repairs. The buyer will pay a fixed amount of $ 15.00 for Standard Mail and we will include delivery confirmation, tracking, at no additional cost.
