This is an antique Chinese hand carved wood base.

I am uncertain as to exactly how old it is, but it definitely has very good age. Perhaps 1920s or 1930s?

Overall it measures 1 3/8 inches tall x 5 inches wide (3.5 cm x 12.7 cm). It will fit an object measuring 3 1/4 inches wide (8.2 cm).

The base is marked on the bottom CHINA.

The piece has a few issues. For some reason, a small section of the wood is a lighter color than the rest of the stand. Maybe it got wet? Or maybe the wood varies in color. I’m not quite sure. Just to the right of that, you can see that a piece where there is a leaf, broke off at some point and someone repaired it. There are four small breaks there. I have taken a few close-up photos to better show this. The top of it has discoloration going around the outer edges, though this would be covered when being used.

It weighs a little under 5 ounces (136 g).
