This is an antique well-loved handmade velvet cloth doll.

I am uncertain as to how old this is, but it definitely has very good age. It’s at least from the very early 20th century though.

It measures 16 1/2 inches tall (41.9 cm).

This is the type of doll that a person who appreciates it will absolutely love. I do! You can just tell that the child that owned this had their mother (probably) do whatever they could to keep it alive. You can see where additional sewing was done over the years to repair it. There’s even a patch in the back of a different type of material.

Of course, much of the velvet has worn off, though much of it is still there. You can see it is stuffed with cotton right at the front at the tear.

This is a very sweet, lovable doll!
