~Antique 14K Gold & Sterling Silver Thimble~

Simons Bros. Co. * Circa 1900s

This beautiful antique 14K gold & sterling silver thimble features a deeply embossed band with scroll work and panels all around. It was made by Simons Bros. Co. and their logo is marked inside the top.

The outside of the band has the size (6) and the hallmark "Pat. May 28 89"

This thimble is featured on pg. 82 (#2) in American Silver Thimbles by Gay Ann Rogers.

This thimble is also featured on pg. 10 (#2) in Antique & Collectible Thimbles and Accessories by Averil Mathis.

The condition is excellent, almost in round with no holes, dents or any other damage.

Small scratches and patina consistent with age.
