For sale is a pcgs ms68rd 1982-d zinc large date Lincoln Cent. So back in the early 2000s I used to submit these by bulk and was never able to get graded a 68rd. pcgs was very tough on strike. I even cracked out what I thought was my best ms67rd and submitted it again and it came back ms64rd go figure. It was flawless but graders did not like any strike weakness whatsoever (and are just very inconsistent). Anyway, grading loosened in 2013 and lots of ms68rds started hitting the market but I was still very picky and didn't find one with a strike like this until much later. Lincoln's tie is sharp and all reverse lettering is sharp. I only now replaced it with an ngc ms68+rd but I actually think this one is brighter and better struck. The ngc one has less of the little zinc bubbles but those are common and mint made and not considered flaws.
