1850'S FINE ANTIQUE TINTED AMBROTYPE PHOTOGRAPH SWIVEL BROOCH - ROLLED GOLD

Circa 1850's,  a Victorian swivel brooch in rolled gold,  containing a tinted ambrotype of a gentleman behind glass one side,  the other side containing black fabric.  The ambrotype looks to be a reduced ninth plate image.

In good antique condition in an old case as found.  Some marks and wear from age and handling to image and brooch.  The brooch has some solder marks and has lost its pin.

Brooch 6.3cm x 5.5cm.  Approx.
