Circa 1890's large antique Victorian oil lamp by Messenger.
Brass Messenger's Annular 54CP burner. Hammered copper font. Thick grade glass chimney.
In good antique condition, a few small dings to font. It looks like the wick raiser mechanism has been removed or not fitted. May have also have had a flame spreader. Unpolished as found, not fired or tested with oil.
Height to top of chimney 42.5cm. Approx.
