7ins by 4.75ins xiv, 508pp
Illustrated with colour frontispiece and title pages and five more colour plates by Benjamin Fawcett. Plates have tissue guards. There are also many wood engraved illustrations both full page and within the text.
Includes chapters on marine and freshwater aquariums, Wardian cases, floral ornaments or table and window, the aviary, the apiary, the pleasure garden, the flower garden, the rockery and the fernery.
Small ink stain on one tissue and the adjoining plate mount and there is light stain on the lower corner of one plate. Binding is not loose but a few pages do not sit quite squarely in the boards. Both the engraved and plain title pages and the frontispiece are detsched from the main binding,overall contents are in very good clean condition.
Boards are a bit faded with minor wear to corners and edges. Slight spotting in places.

I normally use Royal Mail 24 service for UK parcels and either Royal Mail or UPS for overseas ones. However as rates alter regularly nowadays this could change sometimes as I always try to use the least expensive but reliable service. I am always happy to combine more than one item in a parcel with a saving on postage for the customer. Parcels are insured in transit.
