Here is a rarely found 1894 F. A. Hardy & Co Price list / catalogue offering a unique glimpse into the world of eye care and fashion from the turn of last century.  The front and back covers seem to be missing, but the interior is full of amazing illustrations of everything their company sold.  This collection also includes a variety of single sheet advertisements from other catalogues for optometrists, opticians and oculists alike.  Together, they include spectacles, goggles and pince-nez from the late 1800's to about 1915. The ads present detailed illustrations and descriptions of various eyewear designs and innovations from that time period, providing insight into the optical industry's history and popular styles of yore.  This lot should be perfect for collectors of antique optical items and anyone interested in the history of eyewear.
