Original serigraph illustration by Mordechai Rosenstein, created for the book 'Torah From Our Sages: Pirke Avot' by Jacob Neusner. This vibrant piece features bold Hebrew calligraphy integrated into a colorful, geometric composition characteristic of Rosenstein's celebrated style. The artwork includes a handwritten inscription at the bottom: 'He from whom people take pleasure—the Omnipresent takes pleasure. Pirke Avot 3.13'. Housed in a sleek gold-tone metal frame with a deep burgundy mat, this piece was originally dedicated to William J. Bennett. The back retains the original gallery label from Scarboro GH Gallery. Note that there is visible water staining on the bottom edge of the backing paper, though it does not appear to affect the front-facing artwork or matting.
