Description:

A commemorative Israel State medal issued to mark the Six-Day War Victory by Israel and the return of the Jewish people to their land. The medal depicts a ship, similar to the Exodus 1947, symbolizing immigration.

Obverse:

Immigrant Ship with Israeli Flag Flying sailing towards the Land of Israel under a rising sun, a common symbol related to immigration and return.

The Hebrew inscription wrapping around the edge is "ושבו בנים לגבולם" (And sons came back to their borders), a verse from Jeremiah 31:16.

Reverse:

the emblems of the twelve tribes of Israel. 

The lower rim contains the English inscription: "ISRAEL'S DAY WAR-5.VI.-11.VI.1967.".
