A beautiful E. Eggington & Son (Merton S.W.19) 7ft 6in two piece split cane fly fishing rod. Excellent build quality with full cork handle and what looks to be a nickel silver butt cap - bearing the makers mark. Offset intermediate guides with clear agate lined tip and stripper guides. Burgundy close whippings are all sound. The rod is in absolutely outstanding condition, as seen in the pictures. Sections are nice and straight and fit together snuggly. There's some slight ribbing to the cork. Makers mark is also scribed on the rod and is nice and clear. Comes with the original branded slip bag. A superb quality rod from one of the less prolific makers.
