BOJACK SPP6 Hard Start Air Conditioner Relay or Capacitor Kit

The SPP6 is designed for permanent split capacitor single phase air conditioning and heat pump systems.
Starting capacitors are used in single-phase AC motors, air conditioners, refrigerator compressors, etc.
Including relays and starting capacitors to provide 500% starting torque.

If your new or old compressor won't start, try installing this hard-start capacitor before doing anything else.
Starting an air conditioner or heat pump compressor (reciprocating and scroll) requires an extra electrical "shock" to start.
Equipment requiring hard-start capacitors: heat pump or condenser split systems with (TXV) installed.
Old heat pump or condenser that is mechanically stuck and not working.

Installation Notes
Connect the two wires of the SPP6 in parallel with the run capacitor (one wire on each side) without removing any of the original wires.
If all run capacitor terminals are being used, use the SPP6's special "piggyback" terminals.
2-wire connection:The two-wire hard-start kit is connected in parallel with the run capacitor for Permanently Split Capacitor (PSC) type compressors;
and connects to the start and run terminals on the compressor for Capacitor Start Induction Run (CSIR) type compressors. A third connection to the common wire is not required.

Notice:
Check the model number on the compressor (printed on the nameplate on the side of the compressor) to determine the tonnage of the unit.
