Vintage 1910s-1920s Leather Gauntlet Flying Mittens | Possible Early Aviation | Estate Found with Curtiss JN-4 Jenny Memorabilia

These heavy leather gauntlet mittens were acquired from the same estate/storage unit as a significant collection of Curtiss JN-4 Jenny aviation memorabilia and pilot-related artifacts. While they are not identified by maker and no direct documentation links them to aviation use, their construction, age, and provenance make them a compelling candidate for collectors of early aviation equipment.

* Good vintage condition

* Heavy surface wear

* Dry leather

* Some seam wear

* Lining deterioration

* Complete pair

They were stored in a storage unit that had water damage and while these items did not have water damage on them, they do smell like mold and need a proper cleaning and airing out by somebody who is much more knowledgeable than I am. I do not want to damage them further.

Thank you so much for looking and have a wonderful day
