This is copy 170 of 300 of the limited-edition “Shinjuku” (新宿) by Daido Moriyama (森山大道), published by Getsuyosha (月曜社) in August 2002. One of Moriyama’s most celebrated subjects, Shinjuku — Tokyo’s electric, labyrinthine entertainment and commercial district — is captured here in dense black-and-white: night streets, bars, alleyways, neon reflections, and the restless energy of the crowd.

This limited edition is housed in a gray textured slipcase printed with the title in bold magenta. Near-new condition throughout — essentially as issued.
