5W93G: For Dell R740 Standard Version with 8-bay 3.5-inch LFF drive configuration

Applicable Configuration:

This cable is designed for the front 8-bay 3.5-inch SAS/SATA hard drive backplane of the Dell R740 server,

paired with the onboard Mini PERC RAID card installed in the dedicated motherboard slot

(common models include H730P Mini, H740P Mini, HBA330 Mini).

It is required to connect the backplane to the onboard Mini RAID card,

and regular external SFF-8643 pass-through SAS cables cannot be used as a replacement.

One end: Dedicated snap-locked MPERC connector (plugs into the onboard Mini PERC RAID card on the motherboard)
The other end: SFF-8643 connector (connects to the 8×3.5 hard drive backplane)
