This is a 1999 first edition hardcover of “Visions of Japan”, a photo book by Daido Moriyama (森山大道), published by Korinsha Press (光琳社) as part of their Visions of Japan series. The book collects 76 black-and-white photographs Moriyama took in Paris, bound in a vivid magenta hardcover with a close-up lip photograph inset on the front board.

The volume includes a critical essay by Toshiharu Ito (伊藤俊治), edited by Hisako Motoo (本尾久子), with art direction by Kaoru Kasai (葛西薫) and design by Yoko Inoue (井上庸子). This copy is the book itself; no dust jacket is included.

CONDITION

Used, good condition. The hardcover boards show light shelf wear with mild rubbing, and there is a small split at the top of the spine. No dust jacket is included. Interior pages are clean with no markings.
