First edition (1950) of Noodles and Rice and Everything Nice, published by the Hong Kong Young Women's Christian Association and printed by The Local Printing Press Ltd., Hong Kong. An important early English-language Chinese cookbook, compiled from Chinese cookery classes at the Hong Kong YWCA and containing traditional Cantonese recipes and notes on Chinese dining and cooking methods.

Condition: Fair vintage condition with some fading and staining to the red cloth boards, damage to outer spine and minor wear/splitting at the front hinge. Pages appear generally clean and firmly bound, however a few bear marks and stains.
