About Plant 

 

Tree, up to 50 m tall. Leaves up to 10 cm; petiole very short. Stipules ;arge, 2 cm long, enclose terminal buds. Flowers small, 3 mm diameter, in small heads of cymes. Fruit about 5 mm diameter, berry-like, red. Seed with thick orange testa, lobulate.
