This stunning and unique hand embroidered antique/vint. Madeira hanky measures 11.25" x 11.25". I love this design! The sunflowers are just adorable! I have not seen any hankies with sunflowers like this. They just make this so special, so cute! There is fine fabric around each flower and then above them there is much drawn work. The leaves and center of the flowers also have micro dots in them. Other flowers are included in the design. The fabric is so sheer and compliments the design. Swirls are placed in this overall picture, too. I hate to get rid of this because it is my favorite hanky, but I need to. This is preowned and does have issues. There is a tiny light orange mark in between the corner and edge, barely noticeable. See last picture. I see an extremely tiny pin point hole. The center will not lie flat all the way, which you may want to fix. May have other issues such as thread, or marks, or other things I miss. NOT perfect, SOLD AS IS. Very different finely made hanky for you to enjoy. Just beautiful.
