Here we have an 1890s front friction brake operating rod assembly with friction pad that looks little used I think for an early pneumatic bicycle . It is adjustable and though the rod rotates it doesnt appear to want to come out more than half an inch or so . It has been in storage for many years and is 14 inches long but will not increase or reduce very much probably some heat will free the years of corrosion The diameter is 7/16 inch on the outer tube but it doesnt have a lock nut or spring .the lower location arm moves ok and the original screw and nut move freely What you see is what you get i have nothing else for this rare to find item .
