This vintage Haas-Jordan "Toledo 400" ladies' rain umbrella dates to the late 1940s to mid-1950s and features a striking, festive red and green tartan plaid canopy. Highly prized by collectors for its premium 16-rib design, the umbrella extends into a beautifully round, deeply scalloped silhouette. It is built with a classic curved solid lucite hook handle, an engraved silver accent collar, and its original wrist link chain. The umbrella opens smoothly and the structural frame remains fully intact; the vibrant canopy fabric is in good vintage condition with just a couple of very small holes age-typical pinholes near the lower edge hem and a crack on lucite tip (clearly documented in photos).
