“Harris Kowalski LaMantia” 1971 Vintage Poster Hyde Park Art Center Chicago

This is an original, authentic vintage exhibition poster from the Hyde Park Art Center in Chicago, featuring artists Harris, Kowalski, and Lamantia.

The event featured an opening on January 10, 1971, with gallery hours listed for Tuesdays through Saturdays.

The poster design showcases bold black-and-white minimalist typography and a stylized graphic illustration of three figures.

The Hyde Park Art Center at 5236 South Blackstone was a legendary incubator for Chicago artists. This is a piece of that wild world.

The poster measures approximately 17” wide by 22” tall. It is in excellent vintage condition. Clean, bright, flat. The reverse is stamped with the Hyde Park Art Center address. This one was stored well.
