Vintage Nancy Ann Storybook Doll #257, Antoinette, from the In Powder and Crinoline series. She has a bisque porcelain body, painted facial features, blonde wig, and an elaborate purple taffeta-style gown with lace trim, underskirt, floral accent, and feather hair ornament.

This doll is best for a collector who is comfortable with restoration or display as-is. She presents beautifully from the front, but she has notable condition issues, including missing arms, wig wear, loose/messy hair, damage to the feather accent, age discoloration, and fabric wear. Her head is fixed and her legs are jointed.

(Poor-->Fair-->Good-->Very Good-->Excellent-->Mint):
Needs a thorough cleaning. Face has been gently wiped only. Both arms are missing. Wig has wear, flyaways, looseness/messiness, and visible age-related deterioration. Feather hair ornament is damaged/frayed. Dress has age discoloration, soiling, wrinkles, fading, and fabric wear. Lace is darkened from age and has some fraying/wear. Back closures are pinned. Bisque has surface soil, small marks, and age wear. No major cracks noted from inspection, but this is being sold as a restoration/display doll due to missing parts and overall condition.

I aim to please, and describe every item to the best of my ability. But please note that my vintage items often received frequent use back in their day, so may show visible signs of wear and age. Personally, I wouldn't have it any other way, as I treasure those marks of the past.
