Gamekeeper's Cottage was based upon a cottage found on the Ragley Hall Estate, near Alcester in Warwickshire, the site of Lilliput Lane's 1991 Collectors Fair.  Built in 1872 by the 5th Marquess of Hertford, the three-bedroom Victorian dwelling was constructed for one the estate gamekeepers.
