Unlike standard IPS LCDs, a fully laminated IPS LCD integrates the glass plate and the IPS LCD into a single unit. This eliminates the risk of dust entering the LCD over time due to aging, and since there is no air gap between the LCD panel and the display surface, images appear closer and clearer! Because it’s made of glass, it’s also highly scratch-resistant.
