This art metal statue was likely made in the late 1800's-early 1900's and was probably used as a clock topper on an Ansonia style mantel clock. The sculptural detail is excellent, from its thick matted coat, beard and horns to its curled tail. 

This large Buffalo statue measures almost 4" tall by 6" across by 2.5" wide and weighs 1.25 lbs.
