This listing is for 2 illustrated Sotheby's auction catalogs from 1970 and 1971 from "The Sassoon Collection of  Highly Important Hebrew Printed Books". The First Portion is dated June 30, 1970 and the Second Portion is dated March 1, 1971. Both books measure 7 3/8" x 10" and combined weigh 1.7 pounds. The first volume has 98 pages and lists 186 items while the second volume has 94 pages and lists 192 items. Not every items is pictured but many are illustrated. 

Some of the items listed for sale in these 47+ year old catalogs include a 16th century copy of the Zohar, Prayer Books, Dictionary of the Talmud, Mishnah Torah by Moses Ben Maimon, 15th century copy of Kol Bo, hymns, Haggadahs, Torahs, Kabbalah, a 1745 copy of Jacob Berab's Zimrat Ha'aretz, an 1806 Hebrew Almanac from Amsterdam, and much more. 

These 2 books are in very good condition but with some rubbing and shelf wear to the covers. The inside pages are in excellent condition.
