Very early unmarked trade axe, blacksmith made and with a very odd carved handle. Needs cleaned up and restored but quite a piece. Very solid no breaks with a nice edge. I have had many of these over the years but this is one of the coolest. From previous owner, it was found in Ohio coal mining country in the woods in early 1900s. Look at the pictures and you be the judge. Looks French to me.
