💀 Vintage 1966 Mattel Fright Factory Skeleton Mold 💀

Mold 4495-051 — Plus Assembled Skeleton Figures & Loose Parts

🔎 Please Note: Some skeletons are missing limbs or are mismatched assemblies — please review all photos for the exact parts and figures included.

ðŸ”Ĩ Description

Up for consideration is an original vintage Mattel "Fright Factory" die-cast metal skeleton mold, stock/mold number 4495-051, stamped ÂĐ1966 Mattel, Inc. on the plate — plus a substantial lot of molded skeleton parts shown in the photos.

Fright Factory was Mattel's horror/monster-themed Thingmaker expansion, and this mold produces individual snap-together skull, ribcage/torso, arm, and leg pieces that combine into posable skeleton figures — plus ball-and-chain accessories for extra dramatic flair. Included here are approximately seven assembled skeleton figures in varying poses, along with extra loose parts (a spare skull, ball-and-chain pieces).

The figures show wonderful tonal variety — bone/cream, flesh-tone, pink/translucent, and black, with several skeletons mixing colors across limbs for a striking, almost custom-built look. A genuinely strong display piece for collectors of vintage monster toys and Mattel Thingmaker history.

Some assembled skeleton figures are missing limbs or are otherwise incomplete, as shown in the photos — please review all images closely, since the assortment is sold exactly as pictured. The molded pieces appear to be vintage/period-style Plasti-Goop castings consistent with the mold's design; we cannot guarantee from photos alone that every piece dates to the exact same production year. No glow-in-the-dark property is claimed, as this has not been tested under dark conditions. Mold has not been cleaned or tested.
