This is a beautiful vintage peacock figurine handcrafted in Chile by the celebrated artist Pablo Zabal. It features his signature periwinkle-blue matte finish with intricate white etched (sgraffito) detailing highlighting the fanned-out tail.

The piece has a clean Mid-Century Modern silhouette and is a solid, high-quality ceramic. It is hand-signed on the base by the artist. A great addition to any collection of international studio pottery or MCM decor.

Condition

Excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. The etched white lines are crisp and the blue glaze is consistent. Very light shelf wear on the bottom base as is typical for its age. Please see all photos for details.
