B grade damaged Fender flare set for Golf / Rabbit MK2 G60. These were the widest available flares for MK2- they are wider than standard GTI / 16V flares.
B grade damage means that these flares come with defects such as pores on the surface and other small defects. Still completely usable if you are able to correctly prepare the surface before painting.

These are brand new custom made aftermarket parts made from black elastic plastic. They always need to be sanded, prepped and painted in satin black or body color.
Mounting: These have special built in bungs that rest against the cars metal arches. The flares and are mounted to the fenders using screws, some holes need to be drilled to fit these. Or you can just use adhesive to secure them to the car.
These B grade flares need to have the surface sanded with orbital sander (starting with P60 /P80 till P320 grit sand paper) to sand out as much of the pores as possible and then these need to be sprayed with filler primer that needs to be sanded again to fill the pores. Then you must use another layer of primer and then paint.
