Up for sale is a vintage Kaltron Time Co. pocket watch, Swiss made with a 17-jewel Incabloc shock-protected movement. The watch is in running condition and keeps time. The movement is clean and attractive.
The white dial is in good condition and features bold black Arabic numerals, an outer seconds track with red accent numbers, and a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o'clock. A classic locomotive graphic is printed on the dial, adding to the railroad-style charm of this piece.
The gold-tone case is decorated with ornate engraving around the bezel and features a beautifully engraved streamlined diesel locomotive on the caseback. The crown and bow are intact and functional.
Estimated to date from the late 1950s to late 1960s, this is a nice example of a mid-century Swiss railroad-style pocket watch. Please note there is a small chip on the edge of the case.
