This is a stunning antique reticule style beaded purse with a unique hand beaded figural scene depicting what appears to be musicians or minstrels in traditional folk attire. The vibrant glass seed beads create a vivid depiction with multiple colors, including red, blue, green, yellow, and black. Likely dates to sometime between 1890 and 1910.

CONDITION: GOOD
(Poor-->Fair-->Good-->Very Good-->Excellent-->Mint):
Some missing/pulled beads and fraying along top edge. Some thread wear visible, particularly at the top. I believe the upper portion of the design may have been lost when the lining was attached. The red beaded bottom shows areas of wear and thread loss. Lining is intact but shows discoloration/soiling and some stitching gaps. Attached ribbon has been tied off in some places; I'm not sure what the original intention was for this.
